McCord Library Groups
Good Look at a Book Club, open to all girls in 6th – 8th grades and their
mothers, will have their final wrap-up
meeting on Tuesday, August 3rd and will
be reading The Summer I Turned Pretty
by Jenny Han. If you have any
questions call Tamara at 725-1925.
Friends of the Library
Brought together by a love of books, the Friends of the Library assist in the
day to day operations of the library. Other programs the Friends have been
involved in are:
The Winter Speakers Series
Representing the library at community events
Raffles and other fund raisers
Several used book sales
The Friends of the Library was formed in September 1996.
